Questions

What happens to a transparent background?: JPG cannot store transparency, so any see-through area is filled with white. If you need to keep transparency, stay with PNG.
How much smaller will the file be?: Photographs usually shrink by 70% or more. Screenshots, logos and drawings with flat colours may shrink less, and can even look worse as JPG.
Will the image lose quality?: JPG compresses by discarding fine detail. We use 92% quality, which is hard to tell apart from the original, but it is not pixel-for-pixel identical.
Can I convert many images at once?: Yes. Select as many as you like and download them one by one when they are done.
